News:Kenny Shaw caught six passes for a team-high 61 yards in Tuesday night's Orange Bowl against Northern Illinois.
Analysis:Kenny Shaw closes his junior season with 33 catches, 532 yards and three touchdowns. He'll be one of many talented receivers vying for balls from a new quarterback in 2013.
News:Kenny Shaw led the 'Noles with 82 yards and a touchdown on four catches against Murray State on Saturday.
Analysis:Kenny Shaw likely won't be consistent this season, but we've now seen his capabilities. Don't rush to pick him up, but don't ignore him either.
News: Florida State wide receiver Kenny Shaw caught two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown at Clemson.
Analysis: Why does this matter? If you saw the hit Shaw took last week against Oklahoma, and remember him subsequently being carted off the field, it's remarkable Shaw is on the field. Kudos to the kid for his toughness. His value for the remainder of the season will rest in the the success (and who) is under center, as well as the health of the 'Noles' other wideouts.
News: Florida State wide receivers Bert Reed (ankle) and Kenny Shaw (head) are listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Clemson.
Analysis: I'd expect Reed to play, but be limited. Shaw's return this quickly would be stunning after being carted off the field last Saturday. Expect to see Rashad Greene, Christian Green and Rodney Smith to see extended minutes for a change. Willie Haulstead (concussion) is out.
News: Florida State will be without the services of Jared Haggins for four to six week's due to a broken hand. Haggins is expected to have surgery on Tuesday.
Analysis: Not good news for a team that could also be without Bert Reed (ankle), Willie Haulstead (concussion) and Kenny Shaw (concussion) this week against Clemson. Rashad Greene and Rodney Smith will have to shoulder the load against the Tigers.
News: Florida State wide receiver Bert Reed (ankle) was a surprise scratch for Saturday's game against Oklahoma. Fellow wideout Kenny Shaw was taken off the field in a stretcher, and briefly to the hospital, and Willie Haulstead (concussion) remains out.
Analysis: Reed is the most likely to see the field at Clemson this week for a suddenly-thin receiving corp. Rashad Greene is proving to be the real deal, but the 'Noles would be down to Greene, Rodney Smith, Greg Dent and Christian Green. We may see fantasy worthy numbers from one of these four, instead of eight, but it's still a guessing game.
