Arizona's Hill Limited to 57 Yards vs. UCLA

News: Austin Hill grabbed five catches for 57 yards Saturday as Arizona fell to UCLA 66-10 on the road in Pasadena.
Analysis: Matt Scott left Saturday's game with concussion-like symptoms (the second-straight week he's done so), but fact of the matter is, UCLA's defense played just lights against the nation's fourth most productive offense. Subsequently, Austin Hill was held under 60 receiving yards in a single contest for only the third time this season.

Arizona's Hill Set to Move Into School Single-Season Top-10

News: Austin Hill is currently on pace to move into some notable school single-season top-10 listings beginning with this weekend's contest against Washington, University of Arizona Athletics notes.
Analysis: Through six games, Austin Hill has 42 receptions for 608 yards and five touchdowns. That leaves him 21 receptions shy of matching Dennis Northcutt's 63 catches from 1997 and 308 yards short of surpassing Jeremy McDaniel's 916 yards from 1998 - both ranked 10th in school single season history. With three more touchdowns, Hill will also match five former Wildcats receivers who share the No. 10 position in that category.

News: Austin Hill grabbed six catches for 50 yards Saturday as Arizona was shut out by Oregon 49-0 on the road in Eugene.
Analysis: After two outstanding performances in Weeks One and Two (12 receptions for 263 yards and a score), Austin Hill has quieted significantly, totaling 106 yards on 11 catches since then. Hill has also reached the end zone only once so far this season.

Arizona's Hill Finishes With 56 Yards vs. S.C. State

News: Austin Hill grabbed five catches for 56 yards Saturday as Arizona blanked South Carolina State 56-0 at home.
Analysis: In comparison to the outstanding performances he posted in Week One and Two, Austin Hill's showing versus South Carolina State was a disappointment. Keep in mind the level of competition Arizona faced Saturday, however, and the fact that the Wildcats hit the road to face Oregon next Saturday.

Arizona's Hill Breaks 100-Yark Mark Once Again

News: Austin Hill grabbed five receptions for 124 yards Saturday as Arizona surprised Oklahoma State 59-38 at home in Tucson.
Analysis: While Austin Hill did not cross the goal line in Week Two's win over the Cowboys, fantasy owners have to be pleased that the sophomore has now posted 12 catches for 263 yards in his first two starts of 2012.

Arizona's Hill Leads All Wildcats' Receivers

News: Austin Hill grabbed seven receptions for 139 yards and a touchdown Saturday as Arizona edged out Toledo 24-17 in its 2012 season opener in Tucson.
Analysis: Dan Buckner certainly made his presence felt Saturday, grabbing 10 receptions for 116 yards, but it was the sophomore Austin Hill that led the team with an average of 19.9 YPC. Should Scott continue to throw like he did against Toledo, Hill could be a tremendous addition for fantasy owners at receiver.

Frosh Hill snags five catches, a score in loss

News: Austin Hill had a nice receiving day for Arizona Saturday. Hill had five catches for 57 yards and a score.
Analysis: Hill had an eight catch game four weeks ago against Oklahoma State, but has been virtualy invisible until this outing. He's a freshman, so he's going to have some up-and-down, but he certainly played well in this one.

Hill working through concussion issues

News: Arizona receiver Austin Hill is considered "questionable at best" after suffering a concussion in last week's game. Hill backs up Juron Criner and has nine catches for 152 yards this season.
Analysis: It's the "at best" part that makes us hold on pronouncing it likely he'll play. At this point, he does contribute to the offense, but the Wildcats can overcome his absence fairly easily this week.

Freshman receiver Hill snags eight passes

News: Arizona freshman receiver Austin Hill was called on to take Juron Criner's place in the lineup and didn't disappoint. Hill was the team's second leading receiver with eight catches for 128 yards.
Analysis: Hill has shown well in practice and he certainly delivered some timely and tough catches for the Wildcats. If he and Dan Buckner begin to really make teams pay for doubling up on Criner, the Arizona offense could really do some damage through the air. At the very least, Hill has proven he can play and produce at this level.

Appendectomy sidelines Juron Criner

News: Arizona receiver Juron Criner underwent an appendectomy on Monday and will be out for several weeks. “Doing great. Hopes to be back for Pac-12 opener. Week to week, " an Arizona team spokesman said of Criner's recovery.
Analysis: Obviously this is a little more serious than just a head cold. With Criner out, someone will need to step up to be the Wildcats deep ball threat. This is a good opportunity for Gino Crump, Dan Buckner or Austin Hill to fill that role. Inside receivers David Douglas and David Roberts could also see a boost.

Will Hill start for Criner?

News: Austin Hill could be in line for his first career start at wide receiver for Arizona. Hill is listed as Juron Criner's backup, so he seems to be in line for the job. No word yet from coach Bob Stoops on who gets the nod.
Analysis: Hill caught but one pass last week, but it went for a 24-yard touchdown. If he starts,  he'll get some targets in what should be a shootout with Oklahoma State.
