Analysis: After sitting out the game against UNLV, Cody Fajardo came back to total four touchdowns. He's now thrown for 12 touchdowns and rushed for 8, making him a very dynamic fantasy option. With Nevada slated to play Air Force next, Fajardo is must start in any fantasy format.

Analysis: This is good news for Nevada and Cody Fajardo's fantasy owners. Fajardo is one of the premier dual-threat quarterbacks in the nation. As long as his back spasms are under control, Fajardo is close to a must-start for most of his owners.

Analysis:Cody Fajardo has now thrown two touchdowns through the air and scored six on the ground in three games. Because of Fajardo's keen ability to reach the end zone with his legs, he's a must-start in most fantasy formats.
News:Cody Fajardo completed 27-of-38 passes for 271 yards and a touchdown while also running for 134 yards and two more touchdowns on Saturday in a loss to South Florida.
Analysis: After a solid week against Cal, Cody Fajardo had a breakout performance against South Florida. If he can keep scoring rushing touchdowns each week, he becomes one of the better options at QB in fantasy leagues.
Fajardo Shows Off His Dual-Threat Ability in Win over Cal
News:Cody Fajardo was all over the place on Saturday while throwing for 230 yards on 25-of-32 passing, running for 97 yards and scoring a touchdown.
Analysis:Cody Fajardo is an intriguing fantasy play because of his dual-threat ability. He's especially dangerous on the run where he scored a 49 yard touchdown in the 31-24 win at Cal. Consider starting Fajardo in the near future if you haven't already done so.

News: It appeared Nevada freshman quarterback Cody Fajardo would start against Boise State, but he wound up being a late scratch due to an injury to his non-throwing shoulder. Tyler Lantrip started the game and struggled throughout.
Analysis: This seems to be a strange situation in locker room for Nevada. Head coach Chris Ault apparently was not pleased with Fajardo: "I really felt like Cody could have possibly played this week, and yet there wasn't much of an effort from his side of it." We'll keep a close eye on this story and hopefully will have an update on who the starter for UNLV will be going forward.
News: Nevada backup quarterback Cody Fajardo received significant playing time against Texas Tech in an effort to get the struggling offense going, and took complete advantage of the opportunity. The freshman threw for 59 yards and a score, but more importantly looked great running the ball out of the pistol, racking up 139 yards and 2 scores on 10 carries.
Analysis: Current "starter" Tyler Lantrip played well himself, but it was Fajardo who looked like the better fit for the Nevada pistol offense. We could have a genuine position battle for the rest of the season. Should Fajardo win the job, he could become an immediate starter for this year. In keeper leagues, he is an absolute must add.
News: An oregonlive.com look at Oregon's first opponent notes that Nevada is still very much unsettled at quarterback. Out of spring practice, it looks like Tyler Lantrip will get the first opportunity, but the piece noted accurately that neither Lantrip, nor his competitors, Cody Fajardo and Mason Magleby, were particularly impressive in the spring game.
Analysis: The loss of Colin Kaepernick will reverberate through this offense this season as Lantrip and his quarterback brethren try to hold the ship straight. An iffy QB situation is not a good thing to have on a visit to Autzen Stadium to open the season.
News: As Nevada hopes to move on into the post-Colin Kaepernick era, they have added another signal caller to join Cody Fajardo and Tyler Lantrip in the backfield.
