Analysis:Dres Anderson has now totaled 53 yards receiving in two of Utah's first three games of 2012, but finally reached the end zone for the first time this season Saturday against BYU.

Analysis: With DeVonte Christopher left at home, the Utes needed some other people to step forward. Anderson was a nice target for starter Jon Hays.

Analysis: While Devonte Christopher (3-58-0) is the team's top receiver, Anderson is starting to really become a consistent No. 2 threat for the Utes.
News: Utah is looking for a receiver to help take the pressure off their top guy, DeVonte Christopher. They may have found it in freshman Dres Anderson, who snagged six catches for 77 yards against USC.
Analysis: While this is not the Trojans secondary of a few years ago, there are more than enough athletes back there to give every team's receiver fits. Anderson just kept coming up with clutch catches and may have made a stab at being this team's No. 2 option.
News: Jordan Wynn knows he has his go-to guy in DeVonte Christopher, but he is excited about the emergence of two new guys, one coming off a redshirt and another from junior college. Wynn says redshirt freshman Dres Anderson "had a great spring" while JUCO transfer Anthony Denham, at 6'4, 230 pounds, is a "specimen".
Analysis: Outside of Christopher, no returning receiver has more than 18 receptions which should allow Anderson and Denham to see some throws come their way.
