Analysis: Interesting. It's rather odd timing on this request, as you would have thought this could have been done month's ago. Williams didn't set the world ablaze in BBQ country, but he was a true freshman starting on a bad team, so take his stats with a grain of salt. He's a large reason why I'm down on Stephen Morris' long term potential, and some Miami fans see Williams as a Ken Dorsey clone. Meaning he's accurate and smart, with limited arm strength. News: If there was anything that the Memphis Tigers needed most on the gridiron, it was a quarterback. Last year, Taylor Cook transferred to Rice and super freshman Ryan Williams decided to head to Miami, leaving the Tigers in dire need of a signal caller. Their prayers were answered in the form of Wake Forest transfer Skylar Jones, a nice athlete who will be eligible to play right away.
Analysis: Jones never really found a fit with the Demon Deacons and while he is far from a polished passer, he at least gives Larry Porter and the Tigers something with which to work.
