News: Kofi Hughes caught six passes for 110 yards Saturday against Iowa.
Analysis: Kofi Hughes has been pretty consistent this season and is a solid option in Big Ten-only leagues.

Indiana's Hughes Tallies Another TD Reception

News: Kofi Hughes hauled in five catches (on 10 targets) for 110 yards and a 35-yard touchdown Saturday as Indiana fell, 44-29, at Northwestern.
Analysis: Kofi Hughes was targeted four times by starter Cam Coffman, catching three of them, while Nate Sudfeld threw Hughes' way on six occasions once he entered the action, completing two passes. No matter which signal caller is in the game for the Hoosiers, it appears that Hughes will be a focal point of the offense, which should encourage his fantasy owners, especially with 12 receptions for 198 yards and two scores the last two contests.

Indiana's Hughes Catches First TD of Season

News: Kofi Hughes led the team with seven receptions Saturday, accounting for 88 yards and a touchdown during Indiana's 41-39 loss to Ball State.
Analysis: The nine-yard touchdown grab was Kofi Hughes' first in 2012 and fourth of his career. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound junior missed the first game of the year due to suspension after a violation of team rules, but he's quickly established himself as a top wide receiver in a pass-happy offense. He'll likely have freshman quarterback Nate Sudfeld throwing in his direction after backup QB Cameron Coffman left Saturday's game with an apparent knee injury.

Indiana's Hughes Reinstated

News: Kofi Hughes will return from his one-game suspension Saturday at UMass, ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: The junior wideout, who racked up 536 yard on 35 receptions in 2011, will make his first appearance in an offense which produced 280 yards through the air in the season opener this past Saturday. With 10 players picking up a catch in that contest, he has a decent chance to be a large part of the offense as the season wears on.

Indiana Suspends Hughes

News: Kofi Hughes will face a one-game suspension for a violation of team rules, ESPN reports.
Analysis: It will likely be the season opener against Indiana State. Kofi Hughes is believed to be Indiana's top receiver heading into 2012, but his absence won't change anything outside of Big Ten-only leagues. Duwyce Wilson could pick up the lead role while Hughes is out.

Kofi Hughes picks up slack for IU

News: Indiana wide receiver Kofi Hughes hauled in eight passes for 147 yards an a touchdown against Ohio State.
Analysis: Hughes, thrust into a bigger role with the departure of Damarlo Belcher and the season-ending injury to Duwyce Wilson, exploded in extensive action.   He's worth a flyer.
