News:Bo Wallace completed 15-of-35 passes for 310 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions Saturday while running for 54 yards and two touchdowns.
Analysis: Despite throwing three interceptions and completing just 42.9 percent of his passes, Bo Wallace somehow managed to total 25 fantasy points in standard scoring. He's a strong SEC-only league option against Mississippi State, but he's probably a bit risky otherwise.
News:Bo Wallace completed 31-of-49 passes for 403 yards and a touchdown against Vanderbilt on Saturday while running for a second touchdown.
Analysis:Bo Wallace continues to post nice numbers when the matchup is right, but Mississippi's upcoming game against LSU might be tougher than Wallace can handle.
News:Bo Wallace completed 16-of-25 passes for 187 yards, one touchdown and one interception against Georgia on Saturday.
Analysis: He ran for just two yards. Bo Wallace doesn't look like more than an average talent, but he should bounce back against Vanderbilt.
News:Bo Wallace completed 29-of-37 passes for 278 yards, one touchdown and an interception against Arkansas on Saturday while running for 38 yards.
Analysis: He unfortunately saw backup Barry Brunetti vulture a one-yard touchdown run, which would have been a nice final touch to the day for Bo Wallace. He's a risky start against Georgia, in any case.
News:Bo Wallace completed 17-of-22 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown against Auburn on Saturday while running for 39 yards and two touchdowns and catching a 25-yard touchdown pass.
Analysis: That adds up to 36 points in standard scoring for Bo Wallace, who has been a huge fantasy asset this year when the matchup was favorable. He should have another good game in him against Arkansas after the bye.
News:Bo Wallace completed 15-of-26 passes for 123 yards and two interceptions against Alabama on Saturday.
Analysis: It was a generally decent showing against a defense he had no chance against. Bo Wallace could be a decent spot start in deeper leagues against Texas A&M.
Ole Miss QB Wallace (Shoulder) Likely To Play vs. Alabama
News:Bo Wallace practiced on Wednesday, and coach Hugh Freeze expects him(shoulder) to be available for Saturday's game against Alabama, the Clarion Ledger reports.
Analysis:Bo Wallace missed Tuesday's practice as a result of a shoulder injury suffered last week against Tulane, but apparently made it through Wednesday's practive without issue. He is not a great fantasy option against the Crimson Tide.
News:Bo Wallace completed 6-of-16 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown against Tulane on Saturday while running for 38 yards and losing two fumbles.
Analysis: Backup Barry Brunetti was better, so there may be a renewed competition between the two going forward. Bo Wallace is only on the fantasy radar in SEC leagues for the time being.
News:Bo Wallace completed 13-of-24 passes for 178 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions against Texas on Saturday.
Analysis: Texas' defense is among the nation's best, so Bo Wallace doesn't deserve much criticism for his struggles. He should actually make a (potentially very) good fantasy option against a much softer Tulane defense this week.
News:Bo Wallace completed 15-of-22 passes for 174 yards and three touchdowns against UTEP on Saturday while running for 53 yards and a touchdown.
Analysis:Bo Wallace has been dynamite through the first two weeks, but the opponents were both very weak. He should be on benches as Mississippi takes on Texas.
News:Bo Wallace completed 20-of-24 passes for 264 yards, two touchdowns and an interception against Central Arkansas on Saturday while running for 82 yards and a touchdown.
Analysis:Bo Wallace wasn't believed to be very good as a runner and it's very possible that this was just an exceptionally easy matchup, but it's still a box score that will get heads turning. Wallace is probably worth a gamble in SEC leagues, and everyone else should keep an eye on Hugh Freeze's new project, too.
News:Bo Wallace will start for Mississippi against Central Arkansas on Saturday, the Jackson Clarion-Ledger reports.
Analysis:Bo Wallace didn't seem to stand out in fall practices, but he has some intrigue as a passer, even if he doesn't fit Hugh Freeze's running template perfectly. Still, he's no more than a player to monitor.
News:Bo Wallace has not created any separation from Barry Brunetti in Mississippi's quarterback competition, the Jackson Clarion-Ledger reports.
Analysis: Brunetti was very unimpressive in 2011, so Bo Wallace must have a decent chance of winning this competition. The fact that he has so far failed to pull away, though, indicates that he might not be so effective himself. Both Wallace and Brunetti should be avoided.
