News:Senorise Perry will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his knee, WDRB-TV in Louisville reports.
Analysis: Corvin Lamb will likely get the bulk of carries with Senorise Perry out. There is also a chance that Louisville could bring Dominique Brown back, even though the team had hope to redshirt Brown this season.
News:Senorise Perry (leg) left during the first quarter of Saturday's game against Syracuse and will not return, ESPN reports.
Analysis: Corvin Lamb stepped in for Senorise Perry in Louisville's two-back rotation. It's not clear what part of Perry's leg was hurt, but it could unfortunately be a week-to-week sort of deal since he was swiftly declared out for the rest of the game. His owners will want to hold on to him until further notice, however.
News:Senorise Perry had 14 carries for 79 yards Saturday against Temple. He added two catches for 18 yards.
Analysis:Senorise Perry was held out of the end zone for the first time in five weeks and the second time this season. The junior had been held to 65 yards in his previous two games, so he bounced back against the Owls.
News:Senorise Perry had 13 carries for 36 yards with a touchdown on Friday against Cincinnati.
Analysis:Senorise Perry has been limited to 65 yards combined in his last two games. He has scored in his last four games and in seven of eight games this season. It is hard to bench such a productive player.
News:Senorise Perry had 11 carries for 29 yards with a touchdown on Saturday against USF.
Analysis:Senorise Perry's previous low on the season was 72 yards. He was able to score for the seventh time in the last three weeks and tenth touchdown of the season. Perry has become the Cardinals' best red zone option and scored from one yard again on Saturday.

Analysis:Senorise Perry left the game briefly in the second quarter after taking a hard hit. He only had 12 carries, so he scored on a third of them. Perry has scores six touchdowns in the last two weeks and has nine TDs this season.
News:Senorise Perry has averaged 91.6 rushing yards per game, which is good for 38th in the nation.
Analysis: The Cardinals face their first tough run defense on Saturday against Pittsburgh. Senorise Perry only had one run against the Panthers in 2011 and lost five yards.
News:Senorise Perry had 22 carries for 118 yards and two touchdowns in the driving rain against Southern Mississippi on Saturday.
Analysis:Senorise Perry topped the 100-yard mark for the second time this season and scored more than one touchdown for the first time. He had five touchdowns to equal Jeremy Wright for the team lead. His 22 carries were a season high.
News:Senorise Perry had 11 carries for 74 yards in the Saturday win over FIU.
Analysis: This was the first game of the season in which Senorise Perry did not score a touchdown. It took the Cardinal offensive line a half to adjust to the Panther defense. Perry is the speedy part of the Cardinal backfield with Jeremy Wright. He should be a good play in Big East play, which won't begin until October 13 at Pittsburgh.

News:Senorise Perry will get plenty of carries on Saturday as Dominique Brown will likely sit again, the Card Chronicle reports.
Analysis:Senorise Perry led Louisville with 19 carries for 72 yards and a touchdown last weekend as Jeremy Wright was also injured. Wright returned to the game against Missouri State, but may not be 100 percent for the Tar Heels. Perry could be a great play this weekend.

News:Senorise Perry had 19 carries for 72 yards and a touchdown as the Cardinals beat Missouri State. He added four receptions for 41 yards on Saturday.
Analysis:Senorise Perry took the lead running role from Jeremy Wright against the Tigers. The speedster should continue to see a lot of carries even when Dominique Brown returns from a knee injury.
News:Senorise Perry had 16 carries for 108 yards and a touchdown as the Cardinals blasted Kentucky on Saturday. He added a reception for 10 yards.
Analysis: The Cardinal offensive line had their way with the Wildcat defense and Senorise Perry took full advantage. He scored on a 47-yard dash in the second quarter and was consistently able to plow through the line. Perry will almost certainly lose carries when Dominique Brown returns, though.
News: While the quarterback position is one of interest for Louisville, the running backs should be more than ready to make an impact when the season begins. Senior Victor Anderson and sophomore Jeremy Wright are expected to lead the way, but newcomers Senorise Perry and Corvin Lamb will also have their chances.
Analysis: Anderson could be an interesting late-round fantasy option, but the depth at the position for Louisville could prevent any from being a "feature" back unless they set the ground ablaze.
