Analysis:Ross Krautman knuckleballed the 44-yarder and missed wide. The three points turned out to be crucial as the Orange lost by one. He likely will not be worth nine points next week against USC.
News: After a rough week against Rutgers, Syracuse kicker Ross Krautman needed to get back to his 2010 form. And that's exactly what happened against Tulane as Krautman made all three field goal attempts in addition to four PATs. His 21-yarder as time expired provided the margin in the 37-34 win.
Analysis: With Krautman kicking in a dome for many of his games he's a solid fantasy option, and it's good that he was able to get back on track Saturday night.
News: Syracuse kicker Ross Krautman has shown himself to be one of the best kickers in the Big East, and Saturday was no exception as he scored 15 points in the 33-30 win over Toledo. Krautman was perfect on four field goal attempts, and the officials counting a PAT that didn't go in late in the fourth quarter made him 3-for-3 on PATs.
Analysis: Krautman, who was outstanding as a freshman last year, has made five of six field goal attempts and all 12 extra points. He's a good fantasy play option when considering the accuracy and the fact that home games are played in a dome.
News: Syracuse sophomore kicker Ross Krautman, who had an outstanding freshman campaign for the Orange, is looking ahead instead of back in 2011. Krautman, who made 16 straight kicks at one point, finished 18 for 19 on field goals as he was named Second Team All-Big East and a Freshman All-America.
Analysis: Kickers tend to naturally get a boost when they kick indoors, but Krautman was outstanding everywhere last season. Syracuse should be improved offensively, which will likely mean even more opportunities for the sophomore.

Analysis: The last Big East player to win the Groza was Louisville's Art Carmody (2005). The three players on the list should come as no surprise, and with Dan Hutchins (Pitt) and Jacob Rogers (Cincinnati) both moving on, one of these three should be the league's best kicker.
