News: Andrew Furney connected on three field goals and two extra-point attempts to finish with 11 points Friday as Washington State edged out Washington 31-28 in overtime at home in Pullman.
Analysis: Andrew Furney played a crucial role in Friday's win over the Huskies, hitting a 45-yard field goal with 1:59 remaining in regulation to tie the score at 28-28, then driving through a game winning kick from 27 yards in overtime.

WSU's Furney Reaches Double-Digits in Loss to Buffs

News: Andrew Furney hit two of three field goal attempts and all four of his PATs to finish with 10 points Saturday as Washington State fell to Colorado 35-34 at home in Pullman.
Analysis: Saturday proved the first time this season Andrew Furney has hit the double-digit scoring mark. With Mike Leach's offense beginning to hum, however, expect the junior placekicker's number to continue on an upward trend.

WSU's Furney Kicks His Way to Cougars' Only Points v. BYU

News: Andrew Furney connected on both of his field goal attempts Thursday night to help post the only points Washington State put on the board in its 2012 season opening loss to Brigham Young.
Analysis: Andrew Furney hit both of his field goals a) in the second quarter of Thursday's 30-6 loss, and, b) from 41 yards distance or greater. That's decent production from the junior placekicker, but disturbing given that the native of Burlington, WA contributed the only points Mike Leach's Cougars would score in the contest.
