Analysis: With teammate Robert Herron sidelined with an ankle injury, Dominic Rufran became the team's top receiver. His touchdown came right away in the first quarter and he added a 49-yard reception later in the game.

News: Wyoming freshman receiver Josh Doctson continues to make the case he should play this season. Doctson had three catches and a touchdown in Tuesday's scrimmage and drew a compliment from coach Dave Christensen, "When you’re covered and make big catches that shows me something."
Analysis: Doctson could actually lead a small contingent of freshmen receivers into the playing rotation. Trey Norman and Dominic Rufran have also played well and are pushing to get on the field.
