Analysis: The Fighting Irish have quite a few running backs in the mix behind Cierre Wood, but Amir Carlisle could be worth keeping an eye on as he nears a return. Theo Riddick, George Atkinson III, and Cam McDaniel are expected to take the carries on Saturday with Wood facing a two-game suspension.
News: With no bowl game in sight due to NCAA sanctions, USC wide receiver Robert Woods and running back Amir Carlisle will undergo surgery to repair ankle and knee injuries, respectively. Both should be ready for spring practice.
