Tulane's Kelley Goes Over 50 Yards Against Louisiana-Lafayette
News:Rob Kelley rushed for 55 yards on 10 carries and caught three passes for 25 yards at Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday.
Analysis: It doesn't matter who runs the ball for Tulane this season as the team has a total of 73 rushing yards on 117 carries for a pathetic 0.62 yards per carry with no touchdowns.
News:Rob Kelley rushed for 33 yards on 14 carries and caught a three-yard pass against Ole Miss on Saturday.
Analysis: Tulane is averaging 9.67 yards per game rushing... yes, per game, through three contests. Avoid their entire backfield like the plague in all formats.
News:Rob Kelley rushed for 38 yards on a team-high nine carries and caught an 11-yard pass at Tulsa on Saturday.
Analysis: With the entire Tulane offense a mess, Rob Kelley was lucky to produce 4.2 yards per carry. The sooner Orleans Darkwa (ankle) gets back, the better as Tulane has no way of moving the ball right now.
News:Rob Kelley rushed for 10 yards on eight carries and caught seven passes for 37 yards with a touchdown against Rutgers.
Analysis: With Orleans Darkwa (ankle) not playing, Rob Kelley got more carries, but it didn't show as Tulane never committed to the run. The fact that he was able to help in the passing game is a good sign for his fantasy value this season. Check back this week to see if Darkwa will be back or Kelley will get another start at Tulsa.
News: With starter Orleans Darkwa (ankle) out, Robert Kelley rushed for 50 yards on seven carries with a TD in Tulane's scrimmage Saturday, the Times-Picayune reports.
Analysis:Robert Kelley, Josh Rounds, and Dante' Butler will all be asked to pickup the slack if Darkwa cannot suit up in the team's opening game against Rutgers. Kelley was Darkwa's backup last season and is most likely to be named the starter, if Darkwa is out for an extended period of time.
News: True freshman Robert Kelley set the Tulane record as he returned seven kickoffs for 213 yards in the teams season opener.
Analysis: Kelley is an electric running back prospect but with Orleans Darkwa and Albert Williams in front of him has little value as of now. He is a name to remember however, especially in any leagues that count return yardage.
