Clemson QB Kelly Tears ACL

News: Chad Kelly tore the ACL in his knee during Saturday's spring game, and will miss most, if not all of the 2013 season, according to The State.
Analysis: Chad Kelly was injured while trying to extend a play with his legs. He was competing with Cole Stoudt to backup Tajh Boyd. Though the injury is unlikely to effect his long term potential, Kelly is also not likely to see game action for the second consecutive season.

Clemson Frosh QB Kelly Likely to Redshirt

News: Chad Kelly failed to beat out Cole Stoudt for the backup job, and appears destined for a redshirt, notes CBS Sports.
Analysis: Offensive coordinator Chad Morris said Chad Kelly could play if needed this season, but the sense here is they want to redshirt their prized rookie. Kelly remains a very viable option in dynasty leagues.
