Brunell gets mop-up duty: Jets QB Mark Brunell made an appearance in Week 15 versus the Eagles. He completed one pass for 27 yards after replacing starter Mark Sanchez, who got beat up all day. New York would lose to Philadelphia, 45-19. (Updated 12/18/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
Brunell will likely remain the backup behind Sanchez, unless an injury pops up from Sunday's game. In Week 16 the Jets face the Giants in a New York showdown. The Giants' secondary has been giving up 257 passing yards per game this season. They've also been burned for 25 touchdowns through the air in 14 games, which is the fourth most in the league. Even though he has a good matchup on paper, but even if Brunell does get the start he wouldn't be worth starting in any Fantasy league. (Updated 12/18/2011).
