|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(12/27/14) The Redskins placed defensive end Jason Hatcher on injured reserve Saturday after claiming defensive tackle Travian Robertson off waivers from the Seahawks.
Hatcher has missed the last two games with a knee injury and wil be out Sunday as well when Washington closes out the season against Dallas as a 4-point home underdog. Robertson played in just one game with the Seahawks, recording one assisted tackle.

Meanwhile, the following players were designated as probable: defensive lineman Chris Baker (chest, toe), defensive end Stephen Bowen (ankle), linebacker Will Compton (shoulder), running back Roy Helu Jr. (toe), offensive lineman Kory Lichtensteiger (knee), tight end Jordan Reed (not injury related) and safety Trenton Robinson (illness).
Redskins DE Jason Hatcher might be done for the season
|by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com|
|(12/18/14) Redskins defensive end Jason Hatcher told the Washington Post there's "a big possibility" he won't play again this season. Hatcher missed Week 15 with inflammation in his right knee, and the 32-year-old remained out of practice Thursday.
"It's progressing, but not like I want it to be," he told the paper.
Hatcher registered 25 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 13 games.
|Jason Hatcher turned a career season with the Cowboys in 2013 into a four-year, $27.5 million contract from the Redskins. Hatcher had 11 sacks last season to go with 41 total tackles. His previous high in sacks were 4.5 in 2011, so don't be surprised if there's a letdown this year going to Washington. Still, any defensive lineman who have the chance for double digits in sacks are intriguing, so plan on drafting Hatcher with a late-round pick in all IDP formats.
