Cobbs placed on IR: The Saints placed RB Patrick Cobbs, WR Joe Morgan and S Paul Oliver on IR. Morgan is the most relevant of this group as the undrafted rookie free agent proved to be a weapon on offense and special teams during the preseason, but sustained a knee injury during practice last week requiring surgery.
