Grimes swims over to Dolphins: The Dolphins and former Falcons defensive back Brent Grimes have agreed to a one-year deal worth $5.5 million ($3 million guaranteed), CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reports. Grimes played in just one game last season because of an Achilles injury he suffered in the opener that landed him on injured reserve. Miami provided the most money in a deal, while Cleveland and Atlanta also displayed some interest. (Updated 3/30/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Grimes' injury likely hurt his chances of a long-term deal as he will look to return to full strength by the start of training camp. The 29-year-old has been a stout defender in the past, racking up 87 tackles and five interceptions during the 2010 campaign. Fantasy owners should keep track of his status as he could warrant late-round consideration toward the later rounds of IDP drafts, if healthy. (Updated 3/30/13). |
| Brent Grimes missed most of the 2012 season with a torn Achilles. He'll attempt to come back from the injury in 2013 with the Dolphins. Expected to land a starting role right away, feel free to spend a late-round pick on Grimes, who had a solid 2010 season with 87 tackles and 23 passes defensed but hasn't delivered as big since.
