Kubiak expecting more from Tate: Texans coach Gary Kubiak said in an interview with CBSSports.com at the NFL owners meeting on Tuesday in Phoenix that he expects more from running back Ben Tate in 2013. While adding he didn't plan on lightening Arian Foster's workload, Kubiak does have an eye toward using Tate more than he did last year (65 carries over 11 games). "He missed a lot of time last year," Kubiak said. "He’s a fine young player when he has been healthy. He has played very well for us. All signs are that he’s back and ready to go. He needs to have a good offseason. When that’s been the case he’s been very effective for us."

Fantasy Analysis
We bet the Texans do end up leaning on Foster a little bit more than they're letting on which means Tate could regularly see five-to-10 touches per game. And if Foster misses any playing time Tate would emerge as a potential No. 1 Fantasy running back. That's why he should be a must-own running back for Foster owners as soon as Round 7 and a speculative add for owners who don't have Foster looking for a sleeper with a pick in Round 9.
