Austin reels in highest tender: As expected, the Cowboys placed their highest tender available on restricted free agent Miles Austin. The receiver is promised a one-year deal guaranteed at $2.51 million but could still negotiate with other teams. Another team could make Austin an offer but would have to give the Cowboys a first- and third-round pick as compensation if the Cowboys opt to not match it.

Fantasy Analysis

Austin said in an interview with CBSSports.com that he wants to stay with Dallas. "I want to stay here 100 percent," said Austin, who reached the Pro Bowl in a breakout season with 81 catches for 1,320 yards and 11 touchdowns. "Dallas is a great city. Being able to hang out with guys like Jason Witten and Tony (Romo) and so many great guys on the team. It's a great feeling." Getting the high tender will likely keep him there. He's a No. 1 Fantasy WR heading into 2010, worth a pick no later than the end of Round 4 (and possibly as soon as Round 2) in all leagues.
