Brown lands on IR : According to the Sacramento Bee, the Raiders have placed LB Ricky Brown on injured reserve because of a concussion. FB Manase Tonga was promoted to the active roster to take Brown's spot. (Updated 10/08/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
Brown, who played the past five seasons with Oakland, signed with New England earlier this year but was waived by the Pats. The Raiders lost LB Travis Goethel to a season-ending knee injury during camp and needed another backup linebacker. Needless to say things didn't work out well for Brown. He had minimal value in Fantasy IDP leagues and should not be owned at this time. (Updated 10/08/2011).
