| Fantasy Analysis |
Atkins continued his steady improvement this season, and he made a jump to one of the league’s better defensive ends in his third season. He finished the regular season with 53 tackles and 12.5 sacks, both of which are career highs. He will try to help the Bengals in the playoffs for the second season in a row, and he can be considered a solid starting Fantasy IDP option in most drafts next season.

| Geno Atkins led the Bengals in sacks for the second year in a row, picking up an incredible 12.5 while adding 53 total tackles with four forced fumbles and a pair of passes defensed. He should continue to get the opportunity to get to the quarterback for the Bengals, and with 23 sacks in three seasons (he didn't play much as a rookie), Fantasy owners should consider gambling on him as a solid No. 1 DL with a mid-round pick.
