Fantasy Analysis
Wright had a career-saving season in Detroit and cashed in this offseason with the Bucs. He'll be a key part of their defense but might not be worth considering until the very late rounds of IDP drafts. (Updated 03/19/2012).
05/24/2012 11:34 2012 NFL season over/under win totals released: NFC analysis
There were some 2012 NFL over/under win totals released by Cantor gaming. Sure it's only May, but that doesn't mean we can't analyze them and figure out who is under- and over-valued in Vegas. Here we take a look at the NFC.
There's an old saying in Fantasy: Bad cornerbacks make for good Fantasy options because they'll get thrown at a lot and make a lot of tackles. Wright was proof of that -- offenses went after him -- but he actually had a good season compared to previous years. The stats suggest as much with 74 total tackles, four interceptions and a career-best 16 passes defensed. While Wright had a solid season, there's some concern that he'll struggle in 2012, just as he did in his final year in Cleveland. There's some risk to him, but the fact that he's been a pretty consistent tackler and pass defender throughout his career makes him a good late-round choice. (Updated 4/23/12)
