Giants bring Brown back: Giants safety Stevie Brown accepted a restricted free-agent tender Tuesday, putting him under contract for $2.0 million for the upcoming season. Brown earned a starting role for the Giants last season after Kenny Phillips suffered a knee injury, and he is expected to be a starter next season as well.

Brown racked up a career-high 76 tackles, eight interceptions and two forced fumbles a year ago, despite starting just 11 games. Brown looks like a No. 2 defensive back, worth a late-round pick in Fantasy IDP formats next season.

| Stevie Brown emerged as a quality Fantasy option for the Giants last year, and he will look to remain a viable option at defensive back this season. Brown had eight interceptions last year to go with 76 total tackles (64 solo), two fumble recoveries and 11 pass defenses.
