Sherman avoids suspension: Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman found out the results of his suspension appeal hearing Thursday, and the news was good. Sherman posted from his personal twitter account that he won the appeal, due to a claim that the chain of custody on his failed test sample was broken, thus making the results invalid. Sherman was facing a four-game suspension for violating the leagues performance-enhancing substance policy. (Updated 12/27/12) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Sherman has had a phenomenal season, and it turns out it will not be one that will be marred by controversy. Sherman missed out on being named to the Pro Bowl when rosters were announced, however he will still have the opportunity to play in the season finale in Week 17 against the Rams, as well as in the playoffs afterwards. Sherman has seven interceptions, three forced fumbles and 61 tackles on the year. View him as a viable IDP option moving forward in deeper Fantasy IDP formats. (Updated 12/27/12). |
| Richard Sherman considers himself the best cornerback in the NFL, and he definitely played like it in 2012. Sherman had eight interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, to go with 64 total tackles (53 solo) and a fumble recovery. Teams will shy away from throwing at Sherman, so keep that in mind on Draft Day, but he is worth a late-round flier in all IDP formats because of his ability to get interceptions with 12 in two years.
