Jaguars bring back Rutland: The Jaguars re-signed defensive back Kevin Rutland on Friday to fill the roster vacancy created by linebacker Daryl Smith, who was placed on injured reserve. Smith is eligible to return for the final two games of the season. Jacksonville released Rutland on Oct. 15.
