Jets cut two: The Jets have waived linebacker Eddie Jones and safety DeAngelo Smith. In 2011 Jones spent time on both the Jets and Rams practice squads and played one game for the Jets as a member of the active roster. Smith signed with the Jets as a free agent in April. He was drafted by the Cowboys in 2009 and also spent time with Browns, Bears and Lions. (Updated 05/23/2012)
