Could Gresham break out further?
by Dave Richard \| Senior Fantasy Writer (5/14/13) CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora believes the addition of tight end Tyler Eifert won't impact teammate Jermaine Gresham at all. In fact, he calls Gresham one of his breakout candidates for 2013. La Canfora cites Gresham's athleticism and ability as positives and thinks Eifert's arrival might make Gresham work a little harder to play well and land a rich contract after the 2014 season.

Gresham still considered starter
by Dave Richard \| Senior Fantasy Writer (4/26/13) With the addition of rookie Tyler Eifert there is some concern that fellow tight end Jermaine Gresham could see a dip in playing time and thus a drop in targets and stats. It's possible, though Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden seems to still favor the veteran. "I don't think Jermaine has a lot to worry about; Jermaine’s our starting tight end," Gruden said. "And Tyler’s going to come in here and add another element with the two tight end package or three tight end package, what have you and be a good solid backup for us and be a steady player for a lot of years here. He’s a great player, we’ll see how he develops and how much we use him is (just) how much we use him. You know, everyone should be pushing themselves anyway. Jermaine should be working to get better whether we drafted Eifert or (someone else). Jermaine should be pushing himself, and that’s the way our offense has been run and that’s the way our guys work in the room."

Gresham barely involved vs. Houston
by Igor Mello \| CBSSports.com (1/5/13) Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham was unable to make much of an impact during Saturday's AFC Wild Card game against the Texans. He was targeted seven times by Andy Dalton, but only managed to come up with two grabs for 7 yards in a 19-13 defeat.

Gresham has good matchup with HOU
by Jamey Eisenberg \| Senior Fantasy Writer (1/3/13) Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham has struggled to the end of the season, and he hopes to rebound in the Wild Card round of the playoffs at Houston. Gresham last reached double digits in Fantasy points in Week 12, and he last scored a touchdown in Week 13. This is a good matchup for him since the Texans have allowed five touchdowns to tight ends in the past four games.
