|Most on Cardinals injury report will probably play Sunday |
|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
(11/8/13) Five of the nine players listed on the Cardinals injury report Friday are probable for the Week 10 game against Houston. They are linebacker John Abraham (shoulder), tackle Bobby Massie (not injury related), running back Rashard Mendenhall (toe), linebacker Matt Shaughnessy (knee) and linebacker Daryl Washington (illness).
Wide receiver Brittan Golden (hamstring) is out while tight end Rob Housler (groin), defensive end Frostee Rucker (calf) and tackle Bradley Sowell (illness) are questionable.
|Daryl Washington will miss the first four games of the season because of a suspension for violating the NFLís substance abuse policy. Itís a tough blow for Fantasy owners because Washington has been a solid IDP option for the past two years. In 2012, Washington led the Cardinals for the second-year in a row with tackles, this time racking up 134 total (108 solo) with nine sacks, one interception and one fumble recovery. He should continue to dominate in 2013 once he returns, but he now drops from a No. 1 linebacker in all IDP leagues to a No. 2 option. Washington should be selected with a mid-round pick.
