Panthers DE Johnson has knee surgery: Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson had knee surgery recently and may miss the rest of the team's voluntary workouts and minicamps, The Sports Xchange reports. The team announced that the surgery was necessary to relieve swelling in his right knee. Johnson posted to his Twitter account that, "My surgery went good! Thanks to everyone for your blessing."
