| Fantasy Analysis |
Hardy had to miss the final game of what was his best season in his NFL career. He finishes with 11 sacks and 23 quarterback pressures. Hardy will enter next season with a similar value as a solid IDP option. (Updated 12/30/12). |
| Greg Hardy continued to ascend in 2012 and should be a key figure for Fantasy owners in 2013. Last year he totaled 61 tackles and a career-best 11 sacks with two forced fumbles and a pair of passes defensed. Those numbers were good enough to help him finish as a Top 5 defensive lineman, establishing himself as a top-tier defensive lineman in Fantasy despite not being the team's sack leader. Hardy will be in a contract year in 2013, so playing well will only help him get paid. After sort of scoffing at Hardy last year, we can't help but buy into him as a solid No. 1 Fantasy DL worth a pick soon after the Jared Allens and Cameron Wakes of the world are taken. He could even be considered a solid value with a mid-round pick. (Updated 4/26/13) |
