Fantasy Analysis
Fletcher turns 37 in May, and he had another dominant year in 2011 with 166 total tackles, which led the NFL. He remains a No. 1 linebacker in IDP leagues, and he is worth drafting with a mid-round pick. (Updated 04/16/2012).
05/22/2012 23:34 Wade Phillips on Gregg Williams audio recording: 'It made me sick'
During an appearance on Sports Radio 610 in Houston, Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, an NFL coach for some three decades and the son of legendary coach Bum Phillips, admitted that he had never heard anything like what Gregg Williams implored his team to do against the 49ers four months ago.
05/21/2012 16:22 Mike Shanahan has bad collision at practice, left woozy and unable to talk to reporters
On the first day of Redskins OTAs, Mike Shanahan got crushed by cornerback Brandyn Thompson on Monday in an on-field collision that apparently left Washington's coach feeling woozy. Although Shanahan walked off the field under his own power, a team spokesman said he wasn't in condition to talk to reporters after the practice.
London Fletcher returned to the Redskins and should continue to prove that he's a tackling machine. Fletcher, 36, has at least 100 total tackles for 12 years in a row, and last year he added two interceptions and 1.5 sacks. At some point Fletcher will slow down, but we're not sure when that's going to happen, especially now that he's returned to the Redskins. Consider Fletcher a low-end No. 1 linebacker worth a mid-round pick. (Updated 4/25/12)
