Kelechi Osemele on track for OTAs
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(3/24/14) Ravens offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele, who's coming back from surgery to fix a herniated disk, is expected to be ready for the offseason program starting April 21, reports the Baltimore Sun. As a 2012 rookie he started every game at right tackle in the regular season before switching to left guard for the Super Bowl run.

The paper said it's unclear if Osemele will play left guard or right tackle, following Michael Oher's departure for Tennessee.

Kelechi Osemele making good progress
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(12/30/13) Ravens left guard Kelechi Osemele said he's made excellent progress following November surgery to repair a herniated disk and will be able to train without limitations in another month, reports the Baltimore Sun

"I'm trying to get in as good a shape as possible for next year and work on the things I need to work on to get back on the field," he said. "There's still healing going on. The wound has closed up completely, though.

"I've been working out for a couple of weeks. I'm feeling pretty good about it as far as the strength in my legs is returning. The symptoms going down my leg is gone. The surgery was a success."

Osemele started every game at right tackle as a rookie last year before moving this season to left guard, where he started seven games.

The rest of the inactives are running back Bernard Scott, linebacker John Simon, safety Brynden Trawick and defensive end DeAngelo Tyson.

Kelechi Osemele out for the year
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(11/1/13) A back injury has probably knocked out Ravens guard Kelechi Osemele for the season, the Baltimore Sun has reported. John Harbaugh made the pronouncement on Friday that Osemele will be undergoing back surgery.

His absence will mark the end of a 23-game starting streak that began in Week 1 of his 2012 rookie year.
