|Ryan Kerrigan forces fumble on sack |
|by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer|
(12/16/13) Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan came through with a big play Week 15 at Atlanta, forcing a fumble on a sack of quarterback Matt Ryan early in the second quarter. He also had four tackles, including one solo.
The sack was Kerrigan's first since Week 8. He now has 7 1/2 on the year.
|Ryan Kerrigan had a productive first two years in the NFL, and he will look to build on that in his third year in 2013. Kerrigan has 16 sacks through two years, and he's also had at least 58 total tackles in each season. In 2012, he added an interception, a defensive touchdown, one fumble recovery and eight pass defenses. We consider Kerrigan a No. 3 Fantasy linebacker, and he is worth drafting with a late-round pick in IDP leagues. And if sacks are weighted heavily in your leagues, then you can consider Kerrigan a potential starting option. (Updated 4/26/13) |
