Fantasy Analysis
Kerrigan now has six sacks on his rookie season for the Redskins, but four of those sacks have come in the last three games. Kerrigan is fast becoming a nightmare for the opposing offensive lines. Also with a DTD and interception on the year, Kerrigan has definitely become a solid Fantasy IDP option in deeper formats. (Updated 11/20/2011).
Ryan Kerrigan had a productive rookie season in 2011, and he will look to build on his performance in 2012. Kerrigan had 64 total tackles (41 solo) with eight sacks, one interception and a touchdown. He also forced four fumbles and knocked down four passes. Kerrigan is capable of double digits in sacks, and his Fantasy value would improve if his tackles went up. We consider Kerrigan a No. 3 Fantasy linebacker, and he is worth drafting with a late-round pick in IDP leagues. And if sacks are weighted heavily in your leagues, then you can consider Kerrigan a potential starting option. (Updated 4/25/12)
