Thurmond ends season on IR: The Seahawks placed defensive back Walter Thurmond (hamstring) on injured reserve Monday, ending his season after just two games. Thurmond, who missed the first six weeks of the season while recovering from a broken leg, had been inactive for the past three games with a hamstring injury. "He kind of retweaked it again last week," coach Pete Carroll said. "And that means it's going to be a couple weeks again."

| Fantasy Analysis |
Thurmond was activated in November and saw his first action in Seattle's Week 13 win over Chicago. But he was unable to record a tackle and finished with three stops overall in his latest injury plagued campaign. The 25-year-old has failed to play all 16 games in either of his first three seasons in the NFL. Fantasy owners should continue to ignore him in all formats as he looks to get healthy from his latest setback.
