| Thurmond ends season on IR |

(1/1/13) The Seahawks placed defensive back Walter Thurmond (hamstring) on injured reserve Monday, ending his season after just two games. Thurmond, who missed the first six weeks of the season while recovering from a broken leg, had been inactive for the past three games with a hamstring injury. "He kind of retweaked it again last week," coach Pete Carroll said. "And that means it's going to be a couple weeks again."
