Doug Baldwin leads the way with 56 receiving yards Week 3
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(9/21/14) Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin had his best game of the season but was still held under 60 yards in Week 3 against the Broncos.

Baldwin came down with a pair of catches for 14 yards in the second quarter. He also came down with 16-yard and a 12-yard reception before halftime and was held without a grab the rest of the way. He finished with four catches for a team-high 56 yards, averaging 14.0 yards per grab in a 26-20 overtime win.

Seattle is on a bye before returning to action in Week 5 at Washington.

Jermaine Kearse, Doug Baldwin lead the way for Seattle
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(9/14/14) Seahawks receivers Jermaine Kearse and Doug Baldwin led the way for the club Week 2.

Kearse led the team with four catches and 61 yards. His biggest play came on the first drive of the game. Kearse picked up a 30 yard reception despite defensive pass interference.

Baldwin snagged three balls for 35 yards. He was targeted a team-high six times during the game.

Both players will take on the Broncos Week 3.

Seahawks backup receivers make the most of their chances
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(9/5/14) The Seahawks backup receivers made some big plays Thursday against the Packers.

Both Ricardo Lockette and Derrick Coleman came through on scoring plays. Lockette was targeted on a read-option play. After Russell Wilson kept the ball, he hit Lockette with a short pass after the cornerback bit on the play. Lockette broke a tackle on his way to scoring a 33 yard touchdown. He would finish with two catches for 38 yards.

Coleman only made one catch, but made it count. With the team trying to run out the clock, Coleman caught a short pass on fourth down and managed to rumble in for the 15 yard score.

Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse didn’t play a big role in the contest. Baldwin caught three balls, but only gained 11 yards. Kearse caught just one pass for 8 yards. Tight end Luke Willson chipped in too, hauling in one pass for one yard.

All five players will take on the Chargers Week 2.

Doug Baldwin to take Golden Tate's old spot
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(6/5/14) When asked during a Town Hall event who would replace Golden Tate in the Seahawks offense, coordinator Darrell Bevell said Doug Baldwin would move to the "X" spot on the field while still moving inside some, according to the Seattle Times

Baldwin signed a three-year extension this spring. He finished second on the team behind Tate in targets (73), catches (50) and yards (778) while scoring five times, tied for the most on the roster with Tate and tight end Zach Miller. Baldwin has averaged over 15.0 yards per catch in two of his three NFL seasons.

Doug Baldwin says he won't hold out
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(5/22/14) Doug Baldwin isn't sure if the Seahawks will offer him a long-term contract or let him play under the restricted free agent tender in 2014 but he'll show up for the start of training camp either way.

"(Sitting out) would not allow me to pursue my passion for playing football," Baldwin told KJR-AM on Thursday. "So sitting out does nothing for me. I'm going to play this season whether it's on the tender or under an extension."

Baldwin said he's exchanged offers with the Seahawks and hopes "we can get something done soon."
