| Thomas ready for Week 17 |

(12/30/12) Seattle defensive back Earl Thomas is active for the Week 17 finale against the Rams Sunday. Thomas was probable for the game and never seriously in jeopardy of missing time. He was dealing with an ankle issue.

| Earl Thomas took a step back in 2012, and he will have to perform better if Fantasy owners are going to start him in the majority of IDP leagues. Thomas had 66 total tackles (42 solo) with three interceptions and a defensive touchdown. After two years with at least 76 total tackles this was somewhat of a letdown. Still, we have faith in Thomas, and he should continue to post respectable stats. He's worth a late-round pick in IDP leagues this year as a reserve defensive back. (Updated 4/26/13) |
