Considering he plays defensive back, Smith's tackles alone are enough to make him worth using in Fantasy IDP leagues. Knowing he'll contribute the occasional interception is just a nice bonus. If, for some reason, he's unowned in your league, make a move for him now. (Updated 12/16/12). |
| Harrison Smith turned out to be a terrific pick by the Vikings in the draft last April, as he finished his rookie year as the team's second-best tackler with 103 total takedowns. He also had three interceptions -- two for touchdowns -- and 14 passes defensed. Looks like Smith is going to be Minnesota for a long time and more numbers should be expected going forward. Drafting him as a No. 1 Fantasy defensive back with a mid-round pick sounds about right. (Updated 4/26/13) |
