Spikes chips in for Chargers : San Diego LB Takeo Spikes made an impact in Week 15 versus Baltimore. He made four tackles, two solo, in the contest. The veteran also recorded his first interception of the season and returned it 45 yards in his team's 34-14 win. (Updated 12/19/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
Spikes now has 95 tackles on the year, just five shy of the century mark. It would be the eighth time he would reach that mark in his career. Even though the veteran has been dealing with back issues, he's still worth using as a low-end LB option in Fantasy IDP leagues. (Updated 12/19/2011).
Takeo Spikes landed with the Chargers after the 49ers decided not to bring him back. In 2010, Spikes played well with three interceptions, 108 total tackles (81 solo) and one fumble recovery. The fact he is reuniting with former 49ers defensive coordinator Greg Manusky should help extend Spikes' career, and his familiarity with the system could mean another 100-tackle campaign.
