Dowling moved to IR: New England placed DB Ras-I Dowling on season-ending injured reserve Saturday with a troublesome hip injury. Dowling left the Patriots' game in Week 2 against San Diego and has not played since with the issue. New England also activated DL Brandon Deaderick and RB Kevin Faulk from the PUP list. Dowling is the second defensive back to be released by the Patriots in as many days as Leigh Bodden was cut on Friday. Dowling, a rookie out of Virginia, finished with just three tackles this season. He should remain on waivers in all Fantasy formats for the rest of the year. (Updated 10/29/2011).
