McNeal inks two-year deal in SD: The Chargers announced on Wednesday that they have signed RB Shawnbrey McNeal to a two-year contract. Financial figures from the deal were not released. McNeal was on the Chargers roster and then on the Falcons practice squad in 2010. (Updated 08/04/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
McNeal is not expected to make much of an impact with the Chargers, who have Ryan Mathews and Mike Tolbert in place to shoulder the load in 2011. Still, Fantasy owners should keep an eye on McNeal's preseason just in case he somehow climbs the depth chart, though it's not likely to happen. For now, the SMU product should be ignored on Draft Day in all leagues. (Updated 08/04/2011).
