Preseason Outlook

Paul moving to tight end: The Redskins' Niles Paul told 106.7 The Fan in Washington that the team has been preparing him for a move to tight end. Mike Shanahan reportedly told Paul the move was permanent in April. "[I played] the last couple games last year at tight end, but was kind of flexed out and never put my hand in the dirt," Paul told LaVar Arrington and Chad Dukes on Friday. "[Coach Shanahan] just felt like I could be a great benefit to the team if I made the switch." (Updated 04/23/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Paul is listed at 6-foot-1 and 224 pounds, hardly the kind of size for a tight end in the league. We'll see if he puts on weight this summer, and he's worth an eyeball in training camp, but it's almost immaterial where he plays because he's not expected to get a chance to put up a ton of stats. He shouldn't be on Fantasy rosters. (Updated 04/23/2012).
