Buccaneers linebacker Mason Foster leaves with Achilles injury
|by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com|
|(12/21/14) Buccaneers linebacker Mason Foster injured his Achilles tendon and is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Packers.
Foster injured the tendon in the first half of the game and was able to walk off under his own power.
Goldson, Foster among notable questionable for Buccaneers
|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
|(12/19/14) The Buccaneers ruled running back Bobby Rainey (wrist) as probable for Sunday's game against the Packers. He was the only player on Tampa Bay's final injury report for Week 16 deemed probable.
Safety Major Wright (ribs) was ruled out. Meanwhile, the following players were deemed questionable: Cornerback Isaiah Frey (ankle), linebacker Mason Foster (Achilles), safety Dashon Goldson (shin), defensive tackle Clinton McDonald (hamstring), tackle Kevin Pamphile (ankle) and wide receiver Solomon Patton (foot).
|Mason Foster has been a reliable member of the Bucs defense for three years. He's posted at least 90 total tackles in each of the last two years with at least two sacks and at least one interception in each of three years. Foster's a pretty good No. 2 Fantasy linebacker worth a mid- to late-round pick, particularly now that he's in Lovie Smith's defense.
