Dunlap closes strong: Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap got to the quarterback for a sack in Wee 17 against the Ravens Sunday, his fifth in the last five games. Dunlap added a pair of tackles in the game, but his biggest play came in an unexpected way. Dunlap snatched a Tyrod Taylor pass out of the air in the fourth quarter and returned it 14 yards for the game-decided touchdown in a 23-17 win. (Updated 12/30/12) |

Dunlap will finish the season with 6.0 sacks, 5.0 of which have come over the last five games. He has just 10.5 sacks over the last two seasons, after racking up 9.5 in just 12 games as a rookie. He remains more of a low-end Fantasy IDP option on Draft Day next season. (Updated 12/30/12). |

Grading the NFL Draft -- 3 years later: Some big hits ... and misses
Every NFL Draft takes three years to truly evaluate. Pete Prisco looks back at his 2010 Grades (he'd like to have that Jimmy Clausen prediction back).

| Carlos Dunlap had a solid year in Cincinnati and should continue to contribute as a situational pass rusher in 2013. He had six sacks, an interception return for a touchdown, four forced fumbles, three passes defensed and 40 total tackles. That's good enough to call Dunlap a No. 2 Fantasy DL, but a low-end one. Expect Dunlap to get picked toward the later rounds. (Updated 4/25/13) |
