Bengals move seven players to active list

by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(7/25/14) The Bengals have moved seven players -- defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi, guard Clint Boling, punter Kevin Huber, receiver Colin Lockett, cornerback Onterio McCalebb, guard Mike Pollak and cornerback Leon Hall to the active roster. They had all previously been on the PUP or NFI lists.

Geno Atkins, Leon Hall highlight sidelined Bengals

by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(7/21/14) As the Bengals prepare to open training camp this week, they placed nine players on the Physically Unable to Perform list and another three on the Non-Football Injury list. All 12 players can come off both lists at any time.

Defensive tackle Geno Atkins (knee), cornerback Leon Hall (Achilles), guard Clint Boling (knee), linebacker Marquis Flowers (hamstring), punter Kevin Huber (neck), receiver Colin Lockett (hamstring), defensive tackle Zach Minter (back), defensive tackle Devon Still (back) and receiver Ryan Whalen (hamstring) all were placed on PUP.

In addition to receiver Marvin Jones (ankle), who might not be seriously hurt, the Bengals placed cornerback Onterio McCalebb (ankle) and quarterback AJ McCarron (shoulder) on their NFI list.

Clint Boling should be available for season opener

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(7/8/14) Bengals starting guard Clint Boling had "a seamless offseason" of rehab following his Week 13 ACL tear, reports the team's website. Boling expects to be ready early in training camp and to start Week 1.

"I definitely think I’ll be ready for the regular season," he said. "I really think I can go the first day of camp, but if not it won’t be too long after that. It went really well. We just never had a setback, we got the range of motion back early, and there was never much swelling."

Bengals keeping an eye on two players

by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(2/14/14) Bengals offensive lineman Clint Boling and linebacker/safety Emmanuel Lamur are expected to pitch in more in 2014 after getting hurt in 2013.

The official team website notes that Boling, who had ACL surgery on Dec. 31, is a much-needed piece to the O-line. His versatility provides depth and he's talented enough to start. He thinks he'll be ready for Week 1.

Lamur (shoulder) will be cleared in time for late-April offseason work and also offers a lot of versatility. Big enough to play linebacker and fast enough to dabble at safety, Lamur could work as a three-down defender, according to defensive coordinator Paul Guenther, but might exclusively on passing downs in nickel packages.

Bengals re-sign Dennis Roland after losing Clint Boling (knee)

by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(12/3/13) The Bengals announced Tuesday they re-signed tackle Dennis Roland after losing guard Clint Boling to a season-ending knee injury Sunday against the Chargers. Boling was placed on injured reserve to clear a roster spot.
