Wright takes Kaepernick down: Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright stayed productive as he picked up his first sack of the season during Sunday's contest at home against the 49ers in Week 16. Wright took Colin Kaepernick down in the second quarter for a loss of 13 yards. He registered seven tackles (five solo) in a 42-13 victory.

| Fantasy Analysis |
After turning in just six tackles combined in his last two games, Wright stepped up and picked up the pace for Seattle in a dominating win. He has now 89 tackles this season and needs 11 tackles to hit the century mark for the first time in his career. He has just one game to do so, and should be considered as a viable option in deeper IDP formats heading into Week 17.

| K.J. Wright should be considered a low-end linebacker in IDP leagues this season. Wright did a good job in 2012 with 98 total tackles (68 solo), which was third on the Seahawks behind Bobby Wagner (140) and Kam Chancellor (101). He only had one interception and a sack, which limits his value, so he should only be selected with a late-round pick. (Updated 4/26/13) |
