Browns still shuffling roster: The Browns continued tweaking their roster Saturday in preparation for the upcoming season, claiming linebacker Tank Carder and defensive lineman Ishmaa'ily Kitchen off waivers. Cleveland waived defensive lineman Brian Sanford and waived/injured defensive lineman Scott Paxson to clear space on the active roster.

Browns Report Card: Many deserve blame for collapse against Giants
Those who complained that the Browns rarely get off to a fast start must now find another excuse. They bolted to a 14-0 lead against the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants, but the cracks on defense quickly began to show and soon the dam burst. The result was a 41-27 loss and an 0-5 record that spotlights the Browns as the only winless team in the NFL.
