Surgery ahead for Smith: Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin said Monday that DL Aaron Smith, placed on injured reserve Saturday, will undergo surgery soon. He thought it was a function of playing, Tomlin said. Once he hurt his ankle, he thought it would calm down, but it didnt.
