Report: Trent Green to retire: FOX Sports reports that QB Trent Green has elected to retire rather than attempt to sign with another team this offseason. "I feel this is finally the right time," Green said. "I've talked about it with (the family) for a while, especially with the concussions over the last few years. We all felt it was the time to do it. ... The way I approached the game the amount of work I put into my preparation and being someone guys can turn to in the locker room, I don't want to be a guy who waits for someone to get hurt to get a job."

Fantasy Analysis
In 15 NFL seasons, Green threw for 28,475 yards and 162 touchdowns with 114 interceptions. He'll be best remembered for commandeering the Chiefs during their offensive explosions in the early 2000s, throwing for over 4,000 yards in three straight seasons. He'll also be remembered for being the quarterback who got hurt and opened the door for Kurt Warner to have an incredible NFL career.
