Falcons re-sign DL Biermann: Defensive end Kroy Biermann re-signed with Atlanta on Wednesday. Biermann had 2.5 sacks last year playing in a three-man rotation at defensive end. His snaps could increase in 2012 if John Abraham doesn't re-sign. Financial terms weren't available on Biermann's new contract, but the length is three years. (Updated 03/08/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Biermann might have a shot to pick up some decent stats if Abraham doesn't stay in Atlanta and if the Falcons don't add another pass rusher. For now, figure Biermann as a candidate to claim off waivers during the season. (Updated 03/08/2012).
